Galipette Cidre exists to celebrate the savoir-faire of French cider making with the world. We follow the character of the pure fruit using wild, slow fermentation, striving for minimal intervention in nature’s work and always respecting her ways.

GALIPETTE EXTRA BRUT is our driest cider, made mainly from bitter-sweet Breton cider apples. It has an unusually bold and intense character that naturally varies with the seasons.

This Cuvée du Maître de Chai, or Cellar Master's blend, uses up to fifteen varieties native to the orchards of Brittany such as Marie Ménard, Dous Moën and Bedan, which give the perfect character, colour and balance. The extra-long fermentation here isn’t the fastest way to make cider, but it naturally preserves structure and length of taste, with a higher alcohol level.

The result is true to the bold Breton style of cider, with its earthy tannins and full flavour. Enjoy this crisp, dry cider as it is or just as we would in Brittany, as the perfect partner to a plateau des fruits de mer.

GALIPETTE BRUT is where it all began, our first cider. Delightfully dry to medium-dry, it strikes a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, dryness and sweetness, and between ciders old and new.

The unique assemblage balances all four styles of cider apple: bitter, bitter-sweet, sweet, and sharp, in varieties such as Marie Ménard, Kermerrien and Judor. They come from traditional apple orchards near the river Rance in northern Brittany’s Côtes-d’Armor; this is a cider true to its roots, and ours.

Slow fermented for medium strength, it has a lovely harmony of earthy aromas and vibrant tastes. Enjoy this zingy unwinder just as it is or discover its food-friendly nature with lightly spicy food.

GALIPETTE BIOLOGIQUE is our organic cuvée, made from 100% organic cider apples. It has an exciting wildflower character that naturally varies with the seasons in authentic organic style.

The assemblage majors on bitter-sweet apples with just a hint of sweet varieties, such as Carting, Sweet Moen and Belle Fille de la Manche, all native to the centuries-old orchards of Normandy. Light fermentation preserves the natural floral aromas and yields a lower alcohol level.

Sweeter on the nose and true to the Normandy style of cider, enjoy this refreshing feel-good fizz on a sunny summer’s day, or explore its intriguing sweet-savoury nature with a fresh goat’s cheese.

GALIPETTE ROSÉ is our newest cider. Made with rare, red-fleshed Pommes à Chair Rouge, it has real rosé character and taste, and a deep amber colour that naturally varies with each harvest.

These red-fleshed apples, native to the orchards of Brittany and Normandy, are known for their fresh acidity and for the high concentration of natural red pigments not only in their skin, but in their flesh, which creates the unique, all-natural colour.

The centuries-old process of keeving prevents the wild yeast of the apples from fully fermenting the juice and so maintains its natural and fruity sweetness; this is a strikingly refreshing cider. GALIPETTE DOUX is the latest addition to our range of pure juice ciders. The bright and vibrantly golden Doux, or sweet cider, is characterised by its toffee aroma and lovely fruity flavour of real apple.

It is made from bitter-sweet and sweet apple varieties such as Judor, Kermerien and Douce Moen, and undergoes a shorter fermentation process that retains natural sugars. This results in a luscious mouthfeel and a taste with hints of lemon curd, honey and apple pie.

The sweetness is balanced with a refreshing acidity, making it a perfect drink to enjoy with moules frites, gorgonzola cheese or rhubarb crumple.

GALIPETTE 0% cleverly gives you all the taste of a great French cider, with none of the alcohol. It has intense orchard and baked apple character and a rich, smooth mouthfeel.

The assemblage uses select sweet and sharp apple varieties grown in the orchards of Brittany and Normandy. Once their pure juice has been naturally combined we allow only a short fermentation, stopped by careful temperature control, before the sugars can turn into alcohol.

The result is 100% pure juice cider. Nothing added. Nothing taken away. Just natural taste at 0% ABV. Enjoy this refreshing guilt-free fizz whenever you like or explore its semi-sweet fruity taste as a great foil to blue cheeses or ricotta & spinach ravioli.
